Description
SCOPE
The Product Manager - FPGA will be responsible for a specialised technology and supplier portfolio with key objectives to meet and exceed company, customer and supplier expectations associated to sales budget performance, design engagement and demand creation outcomes, effective quote, cost and inventory management, marketing activities, and the overall wellbeing of our company, customer and supplier relationships.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Effectively manage inventory within company goals for assigned product type / category / class or supplier in order to maintain correct mix that meets corporate financial objectives and customer requirements. Oversight of purchase orders and purchase order backlog with assigned suppliers. Support sales to increase business and achieve total customer satisfaction by working directly with suppliers on quotes to obtain the most competitive position possible. Consult with Sales Representatives regarding customer needs, product features, product availability, cost issues, etc. in order to maximize potential for sales representative success. Provide ongoing education/promotion when interacting with sales organization to effectively market product type or supplier. Develop and maintain successful supplier relationships and provide product solutions/unique advantages to suppliers and customers so that Braemac is considered the preferred partner for suppliers and the preferred provider of products for customers. Maintain system integrity by ensuring that Braemac’s systems/databases reflect accurate, comprehensive and up-to date product-related information (increment quantity, minimum order quantities, correct costs, delivery information, etc) for assigned product type or supplier. Process and resolve accounting, receiving and customer rejected concerns in an expeditious manner by researching the issue, determining appropriate resolution and by providing disposition for nonconforming product to the appropriate parties. Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience preferred. Minimum five years of progressive industry related experience that may include sales, marketing, product management, supply chain/ asset management. Experience in the FPGA technology vertical a standout asset.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) at the intermediate level preferred.
