Job Description

Job Purpose:
To manage specific products in terms of development, management, and marketing activities across specific commercial areas. The role aims to enhance brand image, ensure effective communication, and meet market share targets.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Establish a comprehensive and accessible product information system.
  • Organize training schedules for the sales team to enhance their understanding of the product portfolio.
  • Identify market segments, competitive positioning, development trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and report product and sales team performance to assess effectiveness and recommend adjustments.
  • Coordinate planning, logistics, and product development to ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns and promotional events.
  • Plan for new product introductions and develop strategic marketing plans.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support business growth and strategy development.
  • Perform comprehensive product evaluations and provide recommendations based on financials, risks, and technology trends.
  • Monitor industry trends and apply insights to maintain a robust product pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify potential new products and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Work collaboratively with R&D, manufacturing, sales, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze product performance, manage risks, and forecast sales.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 1 year in product portfolio management and marketing.
