Job Description


What you will enjoy doing
1. Product Development:

Requirements Definition & Analysis:

Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, manufacturing) to define clear and concise product specifications and requirements.
Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.


Technical Problem Solving:

Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and risks throughout the entire product development lifecycle, considering the entire process chain (testing, downstream equipment, machine accessories, format parts).


Design & Development:

Plan, participate, and review samplings and mold qualifications, ensuring technical and economic feasibility.
Conduct thorough reviews of mold designs with mold makers and local tool rooms before mold ordering for pilot and production runs.
Develop and optimize secondary packaging solutions, specifications, and improvements.


Material & Process Optimization:

Lead the qualification of new raw materials, master batches, and additives.
Drive process optimization initiatives, including cycle time reduction and weight reduction.



2. Project Management:

Project Execution & Delivery:

Execute product development projects effectively, coordinating and performing activities from project initiation to successful handover into production.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including objectives, scope, schedule, resources, and budgets.


Stakeholder Management:

Coordinate activities and communication effectively between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Provide clear direction and guidance to project teams.


Project Control & Reporting:

Perform regular project controlling and reporting, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
Secure production approvals and ensure timely project closure.




What makes you great

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Polymer Engineering (or a related field).
3 years of relevant experience in product development within the plastic injection sector.
Strong understanding of [Relevant industry knowledge, e.g., plastics processing, packaging technologies, materials science].
Proven experience in project management methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on detail.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Excellent command of Microsoft office tools.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
