Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


- Execute tactical buying activities, including analyzing requests for quotes, purchase orders, and service orders while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.


- Collaborate with internal departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the procurement process.


- Conduct supplier research and analysis to identify viable sources of supply, evaluating supplier performance and ensuring alignment with company standards.


- Monitor and manage inventory levels to align purchasing strategies with demand forecasts and minimize excess stock.


- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, advocating for the organization’s best interests while maintaining positive relationships.


- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives to improve cost efficiency and procurement processes.


- Utilize procurement software and tools to track orders, manage contracts, and analyze procurement data effectively.


- Prepare and present procurement reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.


- Support sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards throughout the procurement process.


- Participate in cross-functional projects and support team goals by contributing ideas and best practices in procurement management.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.


- 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or related roles.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify procurement challenges and develop effective solutions.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.


- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices in procurement.


- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.


- Attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and quality in procurement processes.


- Knowledge of negotiation tactics and supplier relationship management.
