Job Summary
• Lead the process safety implementation of site operational activities reference to Global EHS process safety policies and procedures.
• Participate as a key safety resource of the site PHA, MOC and risk assessment processes.
• Participate the internal audit processes and the site inspections activities.
- Analyze the complex systems and processes, identify potential problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Support safety-related projects, such as the implementation of new safety systems or the development of safety training programs.
- Understanding of current safety regulations for ensuring compliance. Regulations change, so it's necessary to stay up to date with these changes and understand how they apply to the facility's operations.
- Facilitate and oversee the process hazard analysis process
Work with engineers to assemble process technology packages. - Lead and develop documentation of standard operating conditions (SOCs) and safe operating limits (SOLs)
- Mentor, coach, and train site employees on process safety management programs.
- Work as a liaison between the site’s engineering, PSM, and maintenance teams to ensure that the project technology is captured in technology packages.
- Document and input process technology packages into electronic formats.
- Facilitate management of change requests to ensure that existing process changes are documented.
- Strong investigation skills to determine the causes of incident, HIRA, PSIF events and develop prevention strategies. This involves collecting and analyzing data, interviewing witnesses, and inspecting the site of an incident.
- Provide training and support to the operations departments based on the annual EHS training program to implement the applicable global EHSS policies and programs.
Develop site protocols that are easy to understand and follow, effectively mitigate risks, cover a wide range of scenarios – from daily operations to emergency situations – and form a key part of a facility's overall safety management system
