Planning, Budgeting & Reporting Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Oversee the development and implementation of annual budgets and forecasts. Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks. Prepare detailed financial models to support strategic decisions. Coordinate with various business units to gather input and align financial plans. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Analyze financial performance and identify variances. Provide insightful commentary on financial results. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS). Monitor and control expenses to ensure adherence to budgets. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Implement effective expense management processes. Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide recommendations to improve business performance. Lead and develop a high-performing team of financial professionals. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Skills

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Job Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of insurance products 7-10 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards (IFRS). Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
