Overview
The Operations Planning and Performance Manager is responsible for managing the operations planning cycle, ensuring targets are aligned with organizational objectives. The role starts after the finance team finalizes topline numbers and margins, requiring collaboration with the Head of Department and senior management to cascade targets effectively. The focus includes monitoring progress, addressing bottlenecks, and providing actionable insights to drive performance and achieve the operations department's goals.

  • Planning and AlignmentDevelop the operations planning model based on topline numbers and margins provided by the finance team.
    Collaborate with the Head of Department and senior management to align operational KPIs with strategic goals.
    Cascade annual targets into quarterly, monthly, and weekly milestones for teams within the operations department.
  • Performance Monitoring and InsightsWork with the data team to define, track, and report on operational KPIs.
    Provide visibility into progress against targets, highlighting bottlenecks and potential risks.
    Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment and recommend corrective actions.
  • Problem-solving and Continuous ImprovementAnalyze trends, inefficiencies, and gaps in performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.
    Proactively address challenges through data-driven solutions to achieve targets.
    Refine planning processes by incorporating feedback from key stakeholders and teams.

  • Experience: 4–5 years in operations planning, performance management, or analytics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling for planning and analysis.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets and anticipate future trends.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills to engage with senior management and department heads effectively.Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Leadership and team management skills to drive alignment and execution.
