Job Description

We are seeking an analyst-level generalist with a client-centric mindset to deliver operational excellence across a range of people programs and initiatives. This key role supports our North Africa & Levant & Pakistan market in the execution and implementation of Visa’s strategic People plans aligned to business strategies. A key function of this role is to support People Team activities with a keen focus on continuous improvement, compliance, and meeting business objectives.


Reporting to the People Advisory Leader with a matrixed relationship to the People Business Partner for North Africa Levant & Pakistan, the incumbent will play a key role to elevate the people leader experience across all People-related competencies and in providing coaching to managers on a variety of people leadership matters. 

Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for managing low performance coming out of the annual performance cycle and through the year to drives high performance in the organization and aligns with company objectives.


  • Respond to inquiries and provide overall cross functional support as needed,


  • Provide support for regulatory or legislative reporting and processes required in the HR domain for the respective market supported, where applicable. Ensuring all policies are updated and communicated to employees.


  • Coach, trains and challenge People Leaders on a variety of people-related situations and programs like performance management, conflict resolution, talent development, annual review support, etc. Coaches & develops strong, empathetic leaders to ensure people leaders have the attributes aligned to Visa’s Leadership Principles.


  • Lead efforts with People Leaders to facilitate effective management of teams and resolve issues that may arise in the workplace between employees and managers. 


  • Provide detailed analytics, dashboards, presentations, and interpretation of data to drive informed business decisions on people matters.


  • Act as the operational muscle behind our key people programs and initiatives, supporting the execution of the organization’s people strategy. Programs include, but are not limited to, annual review, talent planning, promotions, I&D, Retention and Growth & Development.


  • Establish a strong partnership with People Team COE partners and others within the function.


  • Use data to influence and drive an unbiased decision-making process.


  • Support creation of project plans and drive execution of deliverables, communications, and timelines for execution of people programs and initiatives.


  • Perform other duties and projects assigned by the People Advisory leader and People Business Partner.


This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.



Qualifications
  • 2-4 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree e.g. Masters, MBA
  • Experience as an HR generalist managing small to medium complexity people issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle priorities and have an eye for detail to ensure delivery is always on time and as expected.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with ability to present ideas and data cohesively and accurately.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide insights that drive decisions.
  • Emotionally intelligent, with a customer-first mindset and able to value all perspectives.
  • Great interpersonal skills, team player and true collaborator, ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently through effective communication and influence.
  • Capability to be agile and offer creative solutions.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and help promote a professional organization.
  • Proficient in French is seen as advantageous.
