We are currently looking fora
PE Paint Shop Supervisor to join our team in Nissan Motor Egypt. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality teams to enhance the quality of received materials through quality reports and lab tests, thereby improving final product quality and minimizing line stoppages. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement in the paint shop.
A Day in the Life:
Improve Material Quality: Collaborate with Manufacturing (MFG), Maintenance, and Quality teams using quality reports and lab tests to enhance the quality of received materials, thereby improving final product quality and minimizing line stoppages.
Quality Testing: Conduct quality tests on materials using both supplier and NMEG labs to ensure compliance with Nissan standards.
Annual Capex Budget: Analyze current facility levels and future goals to set the required annual capital expenditure (Capex) budget for the material receiving lab, ensuring efficient operation in line with updated Nissan standards.
Supplier Communication: Maintain communication with material suppliers through meetings and emails to ensure the material receiving system complies with Nissan testing specifications.
New Batch Testing: Work with the MFG team to confirm the workability of new material batches through production line tests, preventing line stoppages during the introduction of new materials.
Standardize Receiving Process: Standardize the material receiving process to ensure continuous improvement and avoid production losses during the testing phase.
Batch Reports: Submit reports for each batch using lab test data to ensure material quality.
Process Audits: Conduct process audits at the material supplier's site using observation and process control charts to guarantee timely and quality deliveries.
Supervise Material Receiving: Oversee the NMEG material receiving system from ordering to delivery, ensuring smooth delivery from local suppliers without impacting the production line.
New Material Introduction: Manage the introduction of new materials using Nissan's process, coordinating with suppliers and Nissan's technical department to ensure a smooth transition aligned with Nissan standards.
Who We’re Looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
5-7 years of experience, 1-2 years in a similar role
Fluency in Arabic and English
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Excellent communication skills
Time management skills
Analytical thinking, Organized and customer focused
