About the role Sylndr is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Payroll Lead to oversee the payroll process and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, handling tax compliance, and working closely with HR and Finance teams. + Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
+ Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
+ Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations.
+ Work with HR to ensure all employee data (new hires, terminations, promotions, etc.) is updated in the payroll system.
+ Handle payroll reconciliations, ensuring all payments align with approved salary structures.
+ Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.
+ Manage payroll tax filings, social security, and any statutory deductions.
+ Prepare payroll-related reports for internal and external audits.
+ Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
+ Maintain and optimize payroll software/system to enhance efficiency.
+ Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes for better accuracy and compliance.
+ Support system integration with HR and Finance platforms.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees.
+ Work closely with Finance to ensure payroll expenses align with budget and accounting standards.
+ Collaborate with external vendors (e.g., payroll service providers, tax consultants) as needed.
Who You Are
+ Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
+ Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance policies.
+ Proficiency in payroll software (SAP, Workday, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
