Position Overview:
Reptile Solutions is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor with proven experience in mall operations to oversee the day-to-day activities of our mall facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the mall’s operations, managing staff, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining high standards of service for tenants and shoppers. This position provides a unique opportunity to make an impact on the operational excellence of a premier retail and commercial space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations within the mall, ensuring that all systems, processes, and procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
- Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise mall operations staff, including janitorial, security, maintenance, and customer service teams, ensuring they meet performance standards and customer expectations.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services such as cleaning, security, and maintenance.
- Facility Management: Ensure that all mall facilities are properly maintained, including regular inspections, addressing any issues, and overseeing emergency maintenance as needed.
- Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with mall tenants, addressing any operational concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the mall adheres to all health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits, and ensuring proper emergency protocols are in place.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that customer service standards are upheld, addressing customer complaints or concerns, and providing a pleasant experience for all visitors to the mall.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on daily operations, incidents, and any other relevant matters for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in operations management, with a proven background in mall operations or a similar retail or commercial environment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and manage diverse teams, with a focus on achieving operational goals and delivering excellent customer service.
- Facility Management: Experience in overseeing the maintenance and day-to-day functioning of large commercial spaces, particularly malls or retail centers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage issues quickly and effectively, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with tenants, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Standards: Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all areas of mall operations.
- Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency.
