Job Summary
NOK Courier is a leading courier company based in Maadi, Egypt, with a reputation for excellence and innovation in the logistics and shipping industry. With a growing presence in Egypt and expanding internationally, they are seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee and drive the daily operations of the company. This strategic leadership role will focus on optimizing logistics processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of NOK Courier, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
Manage operational performance by optimizing delivery routes, reducing costs, and increasing service efficiency.
Develop and implement operational strategies to align with business objectives, improve customer satisfaction, and drive company growth.
Supervise and mentor a team of operations managers, logistics coordinators, and support staff, ensuring high performance and accountability.
Collaborate with other departments such as customer service, sales, and finance to ensure smooth cross-functional operations.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety in operations.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, suppliers, and third-party service providers to enhance service delivery.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations or logistics management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the courier, logistics, or transportation industry.
Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
