Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee and optimize logistics, supply chain, and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient movement of goods, cost-effective logistics solutions, and high customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Logistics Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure efficient route planning, fleet management, and timely deliveries.
  • Implement and monitor logistics KPIs to enhance operational efficiency.
  1. Process Optimization & Cost Control:
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in logistics processes and implement cost-saving solutions.
  • Optimize inventory management, freight consolidation, and supply chain workflows.
  • Develop and implement strategies for reducing transportation costs and improving delivery performance.
  1. Team Leadership & Coordination:
  • Lead and supervise warehouse, transport, and operations staff to ensure high performance.
  • Train and develop the operations team on best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ensure collaboration between sales, customer service, and supply chain teams for seamless operations.
  1. Customer Service & Stakeholder Management:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting delivery timelines and service commitments.
  • Address customer concerns related to logistics, shipments, and order fulfillment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics partners.
  1. Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure operations comply with local and international regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and manage risk factors in transportation, warehousing, and supply chain.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance.
  1. Reporting & Performance Analysis:
  • Track and report key logistics metrics, cost analyses, and operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and recommend improvements to senior management.
  • Utilize logistics management software and ERP systems to monitor and optimize operations.
