Role Objectives
As a New Ventures Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Breadfast by exploring, developing, and launching new business opportunities. You will be a core contributor to building new ventures from the ground up, leveraging data-driven insights, customer feedback, and market trends.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will collaborate with the New Ventures team and cross-functional departments to develop MVPs, validate hypotheses, and scale new products or services aligned with Breadfast’s vision.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in the launch and growth of new ventures within Breadfast by conducting research and collaborating across teams.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of initiatives.
Monitor post-launch performance, gather feedback, and recommend improvements to drive venture success.
Collect data on consumers, competitors, and market dynamics, consolidating insights into actionable reports and presentations.
Conduct competitive analysis, identifying market trends, pricing strategies, business models, and operational methods.
Utilize online research tools to catalogue and organize findings in databases.
Design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences and align findings with business objectives.
Analyze customer feedback and behavioral data to guide product or service development strategies.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, develop, and test minimum viable products (MVPs).
Validate business hypotheses through structured experiments and pilot launches.
Manage the vertical’s database, construct tools, dashboards, and reports using SQL and data visualization tools.
Generate and manage detailed reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, structuring ideas and generating actionable insights. Sheets and SQL required.
Passion for understanding user needs and crafting solutions that deliver value.
Eagerness to build and scale new ventures in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to articulate and structure ideas and insights clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Tech savvy with hands-on experience with data tools (Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, or BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI) and comfort working with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Notion).
Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative market research and user interviews.
Strong work ethic with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in business / data analytics, strategy, product management, or a similar role.
Experience in startups is a strong plus.
