The Purpose of the Role
Playing a key role in growing & protecting our business. Leading all strategic sourcing activities within Egypt/ Africa for BA Projects/Services businesses. Leading and mentoring a team to deliver world class sourcing & procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute annual and strategic procurement plans
• Ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business objectives
• Lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base and reduce risk
• Participate in new supplier search and development
• Drive supplier negotiation and contract management
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in the procurement team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies
• Improve sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating systems
• Communicate and report transition progress to senior leadership

You will lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base, achieve the lowest total cost, and reduce sole/single-source risk. Additionally, you will drive improvements in sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating systems. As a people leader at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help them perform at their best and drive change across the company. YOU MUST HAVE
10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management Strong leadership and people management skills Demonstrated experience in developing and executing procurement strategies Excellent negotiation and contract management skills International experience with exposure to high-growth regions Cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing
WE VALUE
Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field Knowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcing platforms Professional certifications in procurement, supply chain, or contract management Demonstrated business and financial acumen Experience with project management tools and methodologies Strong knowledge of the building automation industry Ability to lead change and build high-performing teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
