Network & Security Head

Job Summary:

We are a prominent food manufacturing company based in 10th of Ramadan City, seeking an experienced Network & Security Head to lead and manage our IT security strategy. This critical role is responsible for overseeing the security of our information systems, managing network infrastructure, and ensuring robust protection against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in network management, cybersecurity, and risk assessment to safeguard our digital assets and support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and manage the company’s network infrastructure to ensure stability, performance, and scalability.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Conduct regular assessments of network performance and resolve issues proactively to minimize downtime.

Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation

• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect sensitive information and ensure data integrity.
• Monitor and defend against cybersecurity threats, including malware, hacking attempts, and unauthorized access.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other security measures to safeguard the network.

Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management

• Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses within the network.
• Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks and enhance network security.
• Manage incident response planning, including identification, containment, and recovery from security breaches.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence

• Ensure that the network and security systems comply with relevant regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance with security frameworks, industry best practices, and legal requirements.
• Stay updated on evolving cybersecurity laws and recommend necessary adjustments to policies and protocols.

Monitoring and Incident Response

• Establish monitoring protocols to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
• Lead investigations into security incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and manage disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to prepare for potential disruptions.

Team Leadership and Development

• Supervise and mentor the network and security team, fostering skill development and promoting best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on security policies and cyber hygiene.
• Encourage a collaborative and proactive security culture within the organization.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

• Stay abreast of the latest trends in network and cybersecurity technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost-effective solutions to strengthen the network and security posture.
• Act as a strategic advisor to management on security matters, offering insights and recommendations for future planning.
