Network Security Engineer
Job Description
Maintain the network and security architecture of the organization Analyze and implement new security protocols to improve performance against threats or malfunctions Resolve existing security issues, including hardware malfunctions Lead network security design for cloud solutions, including automation to support cloud expansion and network segmentation strategy Monitor network security products and protocols and report on findings Guide and mentor other members of the security team Implement firewall rules in our network firewalls
Install and configure Palo Alto /fortigate/ Cloud firewalls according to organizational security policies. Manage firewall rules, objects, and policies to ensure optimal performance and security. Network Security Monitoring - Monitor firewall logs and alerts for suspicious activity and potential threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
Troubleshooting and Support - Diagnose and resolve network security issues related to firewall operations.
- Provide support for incident response and recovery processes.

Technical Skills
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining a fully operational firewall solutions
Experience with networking technologies (routing, switching, VLANs, subnets, etc.)
Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages and working with APIs
Advanced knowledge of information security concepts, trends, and practices
Advanced understanding of networking (subnetting, routing, and switching)
Expertise with a variety of security products, including firewalls, Web app firewalls, URL filtering, and virus protection
Strong communication skills and ability to express technical concepts in clear and simple terms
Strong knoweldge of Cloud Infrastructure and how to implement Cloud native & 3rd party security solutions.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
