Configure and define parameters for installation or testing
of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), routers, switches,
controllers, or related networking equipment.
Evaluate local area network (LAN) / wide area
network (WAN) performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to
identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes.
Responsible for ensuring the performance and
relevant security of network services within agreed service levels to ensure
meeting the requirements of the organization.
Work with internal business teams/stakeholders, and
various technology departments to gather requirements and diagnose network
related problems.
Perform and apply the SLA with vendor relationships
as it depends on daily operational needs to ensure that top quality solutions
are available to the staff.
Maintain that daily, weekly, and monthly statistics,
status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually
modified to meet the needs of the department.
Incident Response, addressing network incidents
promptly to minimize downtime and impact.
Collaboration with Security Teams, working closely
with security teams to detect and mitigate threats.
Performance Optimization, continuously improving
network performance and reliability.
Requirements
3-4 Years of experience as a Network Operations Engineer.
Bacholer degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any equivalent.
Hands on & wide knowledge in LAN/WAN/Wireless/Firewalls
Security/WAF
Specific knowledge of VLAN, VPN, Routing, and MPLS
networking.
Hands on Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5 & Fortinet.
knowledge of IT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking,
and information system security principles, practices, and technologies.
Good knowledge of passive elements like UTP cables,
local loops & Fiber.
