The Job in a Nutshell💡

We are seeking a skilled Network & System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Cisco switches, FortiGate firewalls, Windows Server, and Linux, along with strong troubleshooting abilities to provide end-user support.

What Will You Do❓

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and network infrastructure.
• Administer and secure FortiGate firewalls, including VPN configurations and security policies.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including firewall rules, access control, and network segmentation.
• Install, configure, and manage Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.).
• Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat) for hosting applications and services.
• Perform system updates, patch management, and backup strategies.
• Maintain and manage virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across different systems.
• Support enterprise applications, email services, and collaboration tools.
• Document configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system logs and respond to security threats or incidents.
• Assist in IT projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and new implementations.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for troubleshooting and procurement.

What Are We Looking For❓

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking (switches, VLANs, routing, STP, etc.).
• Experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls (or similar).
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Linux administration (basic command-line operations, security, and automation).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience providing end-user support and troubleshooting IT issues.
• Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and IT security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Who Will Excel❓

• Candidates with Cisco certifications (CCNA or higher).
• Candidates with Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 or higher).
• Candidates with Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or Azure certifications).
• Candidates with Linux certifications (RHCSA, LPIC-1).
• Candidates with experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
