Your Role Ensure the delivery of all operational and business development tasks associated with Project Logistics (Energy, Industrial Projects, and Marine Logistics) in Egypt in order to ensure high customer satisfaction, high productivity, and maximum profitability. Your Responsibilities
- Ensure strong process management is in place and implement, benchmark, improve and control operational performance against agreed guidelines/ Key Performance Indicators.
- Liaise/coordinate with internal departments and our global network to deliver total business solutions that support our overall business strategy.
- Support the initial implementation of new accounts.
- Ensure that all financial operational requirements are always met (including but not limited to file administration, accurate pricing, credit control, deferrals, and accruals.
- Oversee all sub-contract management and ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- To drive sales + marketing activities as required.
- Oversee all leadership tasks for direct reports including but not limited to - Recruitment - Performance Management - Induction/On-boarding - Training.
- Act as an escalation, point for all customers allocated to the cluster/country ensuring a strong focus on customer growth and retention.
- Ensure that customer complaints are managed in a manner that provides explanations and puts the customer at ease.
- Understand company strategies and develop EPC (engineering, procurement & construction) projects, energy and marine logistics, and oversized & overweight cargo clients in the local market.
Your Skills and Experiences
- 7+ Years’ experience in Road Logistics, preferably gained in a 3PL or competitive services environment.
- Senior Level business development experience in logistics or service-based industries.
- Pro-active leadership, recognition of performance, and timely resolution of performance issues.
- Demonstrate a customer focus mindset in everything that they do daily.
- Should have experience in a multi-national environment.
- Ability to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts on internal and external board levels.
- Having a strategic vision and ability to develop new business opportunities and processes.
- Questions traditional ways of doing things and encourages change.
- Strong Knowledge of the Middle Eastern Projects Logistics Market, especially the supplier market.
- Proven Success in building competitive and sustainable solutions.
