Job Description

SWATX is actively seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our dynamic team in the capacity of a Senior Consultant for the Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV).


Primary Skills: Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV): We need someone used Migration Toolkit for Virtualization to migrate OCP Virtualization in production (Idealy migrated from Openstack to OCP Virt but this is not a must)


Secondary Skills :


  • RH OpenShift Virtualization (CNV)
  • RH OpenShift Container Platform 4 - Platform Deployment
  • RH Ansible Automation Platform
  • RH OpenStack Platform (OSP) 16

The main objectives are:


  • Assist Client in defining vendors workload prerequisites
  • Assist Client in defining suitable workload migration candidates
  • Validating resources (compute), networking and storage requirements
  • Installing Migration Toolkit for Virtualization
  • Create a source provider, target provider, network mapping, and storage mapping.
  • Create a migration plan
  • Create a Migration CR and run the migration of VNF Openstack to OCP Virtualization
  • Document migration procedure
  • Automate the procedure and migration process
  • Test and validate the automated migration procedure with Orange in lab environment (2VNFs)
