We are looking for a Mid/Senior Software Engineer to join our Backend Team. You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on some operational and technical projects.In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you also have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.If you’re a creative problem solver who is hungry for a new adventure and ready to disrupt the fintech and consumer finance market then our team is waiting for you in the heart of Cairo!Responsibilities:Designing and developing production grade softwareConduct rigorous software testing, debugging and code reviewsIdentify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycleDevelop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient codeAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve productsDocument development phases and monitor systemsEnsure software is up-to-date with latest technologiesRequirements:B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical disciplineProven experience as a Mid/Senior Software Engineer (3+ years of overall professional experience)Experience in Django Framework and Python as a programming languageExperience in designing APIs with Django Rest FrameworkIn-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)Experience with Docker and familiarity with orchestration tools.Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and shell scriptingExperience with writing modular and reusable codeFamiliarity with using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworksFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as JenkinsAbility to work independentlyExcellent organizational and leadership skills
