Job Description
-Mid Mile Operations Manager is a professional member of Breadfast family who will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of goods from a distribution center or warehouse to various delivery points within a specified geographic region. The Mid-Mile Manager is responsible for managing a team of drivers, dispatchers, and other logistics personnel to ensure that deliveries are made on time, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods from warehouses to stores.
- Manage a team of dispatchers, and other logistics personnel to ensure that deliveries are made on time, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Monitor real-time delivery progress and address any issues that arise, such as delays or route changes
- Coordinate with warehouse& production teams to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Develop and maintain dispatch schedules, considering store needs, inventory levels, and delivery windows.
- Develop and implement transportation strategies that optimize the use of resources, including vehicles, drivers, and equipment.
- Maintain positive relationships with truck fleet vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets for transportation and logistics operations.
- Align with stakeholders on operation standards.
- SOP Development.
- KPIs& Scorecards development, analysis for areas of improvement identification such as reducing transportation costs, increasing delivery speeds, and improving overall efficiency.

Professional & Educational Backgrounds
-Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field
-8+ years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on mid-mile transportation
-Deep understanding of transportation regulations, safety procedures, and logistics best practices
-Proficiency in logistics software and systems
-Experience with SOP building& team structure changes.
