Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Description

- Responsible for all site activities in water and wastewater projects.
- Supervise the installation of electromechanical projects.
- Site survey and testing for electromechanical activities.
- Prepare Project Progress Reports and time sheets; submit them to the project manager and construction manager.
- Prepare descriptive technical reports on occurring problems.
- Follow up work progress with project teams and handing over to the end user.
- Prepare the site survey report and ensure the report is submitted to the services manager/pm.
- Ensure procedures are followed and specified steps are taken.
- Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation, and user guides as required; ensure team knowledge is up to date.

Technical Skills

- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Coordinating mechanical work with other trades (electrical, civil, etc.)
to avoid clashes and ensure smooth project progress.
- Experience in testing and commissioning mechanical installations to
ensure they meet design specifications.
- Familiarity with common testing equipment and procedures for
HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Education

Bachelor of Engineering with a Specialization in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
