As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your role is to implement Danone's strategy at the plant, focusing on standards for safety, quality, cost, delivery, and nature. This involves applying all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and TPM pillars.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure production lines meet target net efficiency.
- Improve machine utilization according to maintenance KPIs.
- Follow up on safety standards and their implementation.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained in production areas.
- Modify, replace, and maintain equipment to reduce major effects and breakdowns.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of mechanical maintenance to ensure work processes are implemented as designed.
- Develop and follow up on PM compliance for production lines.
- Manage the introduction of new machinery, plant, and equipment from drawing to implementation.
- Lead troubleshooting for major breakdowns on the production line.
- Develop root cause analysis for major breakdowns.
- Assess, set, and execute the planned maintenance schedule for production lines.
- Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet business needs and company plans.
- Monitor critical spare parts for highly utilized equipment.
- Supervise welder modifications in the factory.
- Contribute to minimizing losses in the production process.
- Help reduce energy consumption in production areas.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in Mechanical Power Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment (From 1-3 years of experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent Presentation & Ability to learn.
