Market Research Senior Specialist



Job Description



Responsible for gathering and analysing data to provide strategic insights that inform business decisions, marketing strategies, and product development.
• Take the lead in strategic market, competitor and customer analyses for Giza Systems & Subsidiaries businesses and develop market intelligence approaches and tools to the next level.
• Drive market segmentation, identify new business opportunities, and provide deep dives into specific end markets. Be responsible for market sizing, demand forecasts and supply/demand analyses and evaluating our performance in the market.
• Monitor industry news, competitor landscape, market dynamics and trends, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders. Create compelling reports and presentations to communicate intelligence findings to management.
• Support the annual strategy process, new business development and investment projects as well as M&A activities. Initiate and manage own research projects in cross-functional set-up.
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (e.g., portfolio management, sustainability, marketing, and commercial teams) across different organizational levels (e.g., business unit, business segment, group), including senior management.
• Build and maintain relationships with external market research companies, industry experts and associations, and participate in relevant industry conferences and events.
• Manage internal and external market data, intelligence sources, and vendors to “connect the dots” and enable informed decision-making.

Personal Skills



• At least 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, market research, or strategic analysis within B2B industry environment and/or management consultancy
• In-depth knowledge of information technology industry and value chains
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute market research studies, surveys, and forecasts.
• Proficiency in using market intelligence, data analysis and visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with a hands-on attitude.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, along with adaptability to changing business conditions.
• Leading Primary & Secondary market research projects

Technical Skills



•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
•In-depth knowledge of information technology industry and value chains
•Demonstrated ability to design and execute market research studies, surveys, and forecasts.
•Proficiency in using market intelligence, data analysis and visualization tools.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with a hands-on attitude.
•Excellent organizational and project management skills, along with adaptability to changing business conditions.

•Creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau •Quantitative & Qualitative Research Methodologies
•Intelligence Writing
•SPSS Statistical Package

Education



• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
