SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Responsibilities:
Lead the Maintenance team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.
Ensure that all Maintenance roles and requirements are fulfilled
Lead the Maintenance function by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure maintenance activities comply with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System, and Jotun’s HSEQ Management system.
In cooperation with HSEQ and relevant stakeholders, ensure that at any time, the HSE critical installations are working as intended, but not limited to: Fire Fighting, ventilation, overflow levels, safety valves, earthing installation, emergency equipment, etc.
Responsible for HSEQ within the area of responsibility
Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities by utilizing the Jotun Operations System
Participate in operations management meetings to coordinate activities and improvement projects.
To uphold an optimal production environment, ensure professional, proactive maintenance systems by implementing and sustaining the Belt program and JOS assessment level.
Manage, monitor, and update the maintenance system, plans, spare parts, personnel, and costs.
Review the operation of plant assets, including criticality and systems, constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems on time, and identify improvement opportunities.
Negotiate, follow up, and review service contracts and frame agreements for external companies.
Be involved during equipment selection and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
