Job Description:


You as a maintenance Engineer (Open) will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Ramadan City, El-Sharkia, Egypt. You will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment and systems with the operation team and monitor the performance of the maintenance external service team.
  • Supporting in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Collaborating with other departments to plan and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Providing technical support and training to operation staff.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment performance.
  • Complying with local and global standards, rules, policies, and procedures related to operation, quality and HSE.
  • Ensuring that the area of responsibilities is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical, mechatronics
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the power products or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environment regulations.
