Location: Cairo, EG Manage safety systems and processes Manage quality systems and processes together with QA Conduct accident/safety investigations Manage risk assessments and mitigation actions and ensure working to procedures To deliver the contractual performance targets (availability, etc..) To lead and direct the maintenance organization in profitably fulfilling the Maintenance Contract on the relevant Project; Manage the execution of maintenance plans, corrective maintenance, overhauls and all work as per maintenance instructions. To lead and direct the maintenance team in delivering the quality of maintenance required by the contracts at optimum cost; Monitor and report on performance against these objectives and develop and implement remedial plans as required Investigate and analyze equipment failure trends in order to improve maintenance performance and cost-effectiveness Continuously develop and refine Maintenance Department systems and procedures to improve the efficiency of the department Ensure there are disaster recovery plans in place In the case of a disaster, take control of the site and co-ordinate and execute the disaster recovery plan In the case of an incident, manage the team to ensure the incident is resolved in the shortest possible time For both disasters and incidents, ensure a thorough investigation is conducted and that reports detailing preventative measures are produced and implemented to prevent future occurrences Ensure thorough reporting and communication of disasters and incidents (and progress thereof) to relevant internal and external role-players Draft annual budget using previous departments’ financial performance information and maintenance history and trends. Ensure adherence to deadlines. Submit budget to PD for review and sign-off Analyze monthly departmental budgeting and accounting reports and identify and control variances Take appropriate action to ensure adherence to budgets Proactively seek to identify and manage risk Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering 10+ years experience as a high-level supervisor / manager within a railway maintenance function Fluent English , French is a plus Req ID:467967
