Job Description

Overview The key purpose of this role is to handle Export Activities. The job holder will collaborate and work in partnership with Warehousing, other Transportation peers and Carriers and enable them to deliver Customer Service Level and Holistic Cost Management. It is expected that the role will require an initial flexibility of approach as processes are primarily lifted and shifted then fixed and improved over following strategy cycles. Responsibilities Manage the processes to deliver the transportation management agenda covering delivery. Monitor inbound delivery performance (shipment location and status, OTIF etc.). Inbound dashboard reporting (e.g. OTD, Carrier Acceptance, Inflation, Ad hoc, etc.). Book slot and capacity in warehouse. Provide relevant transportation information to warehousing for slot booking and capacity planning. Manage issues and refusals. Insert costs into the system incl. claims management. Align with customer service and Transportation Planning team to discuss mitigation actions. Support for any issue (returns, refusals) and communicate to planner the cost adjustments (additional stop, returns with cost involvement etc.). Receive information about refusal order (order refused after reaching customer premise) and inform other teams (e.g. warehouse and customer service). Create and place all purchase orders with vendors for logistics services and coordinate proper invoicing. Provide information of freight costs for shipping companies. Raising Export orders in SAP Communicating shipping updates to Export customers Export reconciliation- matching the PDF file with the SAP shipment file Weekly PIPO (Phase In – Phase Out) with RM (Raw Material) planners Generate Health and Safety certificate Analyse non-delivered stock Renew export license Qualifications University degree Mandatory min 1 year experience in similar position (preferably FMCG) Lean certification or understanding of Lean principles nice to have. Fluent oral and written communication skills in English. Problem solving skills Experience in transportation management system and SAP usage nice to have Good numeric abilities Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
