Job Description
Coordinate and manage all import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements Prepare and maintain documentation related to import/export activities, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods Monitor shipment status, address potential delays, and provide updates to internal stakeholders and customers Analyze shipping rates and negotiate contracts with freight carriers to optimize costs Identify areas for process improvement within the import/export operations Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in shipping processes.
Personal Skills
Experience from 0 to 2 years. Proven experience as import/export specialist or in a similar logistics role. Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills
- Experience on ACID / NAFEZA system.
- Well aware of customs requirements and documentation proficient in Excel and data analysis.
- Proficient in English language.
