Job Description

This is a critical role in our organization that is responsible for overseeing the shipping / receiving of our various products from our international suppliers and partners.


General Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manages operations and processes of scheduling, shipping / receiving and documentations to ship/ receive tableware and various foreign products.
  • Coordinates licensing, documentations and payments.
  • Ensures compliance with import/ export laws and regulations at all times.
  • Monitor schedules for potential delays and expedites, negotiates with shippers to resolve issues and ensure the products arrive on time.
  • Updates and communicates with suppliers and departments (sales, warehouse and related departments) of all products information and schedule.
  • Train and develop the team on all updates and latest regulations.
  • Set goals for the team members and evaluate their performance against it.
  • Maintain and update the import/export compliance database.
  • Monitor and report on international trade trends and developments.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Following job instructions and guidance to detail. Following and implementing company’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining healthy work relations with co-workers and superiors equally.
  • You should NOT reveal/divulge trade or viable work secrets and, in general, any matter related to the company’s work, its internal and external affairs, and its work system. It is also illicit to compete with the employer in the same activity.
  • Follow safety and occupational health and prevention measures as declared in local laws, company and management policies and procedures.

  • Procurement and Purchasing: Procurement Management. Strategic Sourcing. Supplier Negotiation. Supply Management.
  • Customer (internal and external) Service: Demonstrating positive approach towards resolution Solving customer issues within timelines. Understanding and Anticipating customer needs.
  • Planning and organizing: Clarifying expectations of self and others Goal setting, planning and prioritization. Taking timely actions to ensure obligations are met.
