As the Frontend Lead, you’ll drive frontend development, ensuring technical excellence and delivering user-focused solutions.
Frontend Leadership: Oversee and manage frontend development processes, define technologies, provide technical support to the team, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
Technical Oversight: Identify and address patterns or practices that could impact the development process or product performance.
Roadmap Development: Define and maintain the technical roadmap for frontend teams, ensuring alignment with product, technical and business objectives.
Scoping Review: Review technical scoping documents before implementation to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with project goals.
Mentorship and Growth: Mentor team members, support their technical and professional development, and help set up individual growth plans to encourage career advancement.
Support Hiring: Participate in the hiring process by conducting technical interviews, reviewing tasks, and onboarding new team members to ensure team growth and technical alignment.
Incident Management: Lead the response to frontend incidents, ensuring fast resolution follow-ups, including Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and postmortems to prevent recurrence.
5+ years of experience in frontend development, including leadership or senior-level roles.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, particularly React.
Experience with Live Products: Hands-on experience working on live, user-facing products, ensuring performance, reliability, and rapid issue resolution.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results.
Collaboration: Strong communication skills with experience working closely with product and engineering teams to achieve technical excellence.
Focus on Quality: A commitment to delivering intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that meet performance and accessibility standards.
Domain Knowledge: Experience in trading, investment, or finance applications.
Real-Time Systems: Familiarity with building or integrating real-time features.
API Gateways: Experience working with API gateways.
Design Systems: Experience in building or working with independent design systems.
