Kemet Corporation for BIM Engineering is looking for a " Landscape Engineer" to be a part of their team.
Kemet Corporation is a leading company with over 40 years of experience in assisting clients' project teams in utilizing BIM software to streamline the engineering process. They provide detailed and tailored workflows and guides, specializing in architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Job Duties:
- Developing accurate and coordinated BIM models for landscape scope including softscape, hardscape, grading, and irrigation systems.
- Collaborating with architectural, civil, and MEP teams to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
- Preparing shop drawings and detailed construction documents from BIM models.
- Managing and updating Revit families for landscape components.
- Conducting clash detection using Navisworks and resolving design coordination issues.
- Supporting the preparation of BOQs and quantity takeoffs from models.
- Assisting in implementing BIM workflows for landscape projects in alignment with project objectives.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture with landscape focus.
- From 3 to 7 years of experience in BIM landscape modeling.
- Very good experience in Revit & Navisworks is a must.
- Experience in grading and drainage design is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in shop drawing production and landscape detailing.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
