What You Will Do
The mechanic technician will be knowledgeable of basic equipment maintenance/service, and be capable of repairing systems and any other maintenance procedures.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Two years technical trade school, plus 3 years previous similar work.
experience with extensive electrical experience.
High School graduate.
Must possess superior safety and electrical diagnostic capabilities.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Implement the 10/5 Rule at all times during work hours.
The ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner.
Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures,
To achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
To commit to hotel policy and to his Department Checklist
To keep all Kitchen & laundryequipment’s in good state of maintenance and repair.
To check frequently all major air handling units for correct function and performance, cleanliness of filters, drive belt tension, and lubrication of bearings.
To perform regular preventive maintenance of Boilers – Kitchen - Laundryequipment’sin accordance with the schedule.
To carry out repairs to air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment when necessary.
To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
To observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.
To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform, particularly when working in guest areas.
The ability to repair an assortment of items brought to the shop by other departments.
The ability to clean grease traps, filters and drains as necessary.
The ability to assist Chief engineer on major shutdowns for repairs.
The ability to maintain logs for all work performed while on duty.
The ability to install or relocate any additional or existing equipment when necessary.
The ability to work in all kind of kitchen equipment’s such as deep fat fryer, convection oven,…….etc.
The ability to take meter readings, record temperatures and pressures in heating and cooling plant.
The ability to check all mechanical rooms.
The ability to clean gas burners, oil burners and charcoal burners.
The ability to respond to work orders or room inspection reports submitted by Department Heads.
The ability to respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
The ability to participate in energy conservation programs in the hotel.
The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.
The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.

The ability to handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
