Are you looking for a sales job with an international company? Do you want to help grow our business in the GCC region? Solenis is expanding its sales team in the Industrial Water Treatment area.


Location: Egypt


As our newKey Account Manager in Egypt, your main focus will be to identify and maximize our business development and sales opportunities as well as maintain and develop existing customer accounts. Importantly, you will have autonomy to nurture and grow your business within your territory. By managing your day in this field-based role, you will be thankful for the flexibility to be able to juggle home and work commitments.


We’re looking to you to:


  • Be the face of the company and own sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting and follow ups in your territory
  • Identify and acquire profitable customer accounts
  • Nurture and grow long term customer relationships
  • Build strong contacts at the senior management level in your key accounts
  • Collaborate locally and with the broader business to develop sustainable networks
  • Report on prospecting activities, sales opportunities and competitor activity
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the region and broader business goals
  • Collaborate with local partners, expand commercial pipeline, even outside of Oil & Gas
  • Travel more than 50% of your working time

What You’ll Bring:


  • A degree in chemical engineering or similar. Please know that we embrace sales experience from industry in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven sales experience in the chemical industry
  • Knowledge of chemical treatments in Oil & Gas, in both upstream and downstream
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Arabic
  • Self-motivation and strong desire to grow your territory and succeed
  • Valid driving license
