Junior Finishing Technical Office Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in the construction industry and contribute to the successful completion of key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals for finishing works.
- Coordinate with the design team to resolve discrepancies and provide technical solutions
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for finishing activities.
- Ensure alignment with client requirements and project constraints.
- Evaluate and track material and labor costs for finishing activities.
- Serve as a liaison between the client and project team for finishing-related matters.
- Address client inquiries and ensure their satisfaction with project deliverables.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, material usage, and costs.
- Prepare technical reports, project updates, and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with site engineers to ensure implementation aligns with technical specifications.
- Conduct site visits to monitor the progress and quality of finishing works.
- Ensure all finishing works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in technical office work, specifically in finishing activities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD , Microsoft Suite, and other technical software.
- Basic Knowledge of project management software is a plus (e.g. , Primavera, MS project)
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing roles.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
