Job Description:Zhivago is seeking a detail-oriented
General Accountant to join our team in
6th of October City. The ideal candidate should have
6 months to 2 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial principles. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting tasks, and supporting financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Support tax filings, audits, and compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6 months to 2 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and Odoo is preferable.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
