Position Title


IT Support Engineer

Reports To


Head Of IT Operations



Position Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team, working across our New Cairo and Mohandessin sites. In this role, you will provide advanced technical assistance to our employees, ensuring the prompt resolution of complex technical issues. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high levels of satisfaction and contributing to the continuous improvement of our support processes.



Key Responsibilities


-  Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.


-  Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.


-  Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.


-   Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.


-  Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).


-  Setting up accounts for new users.


-  Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary


-  Testing new technology.


-  Possibly training junior staff.



 


The Person


Desired Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Mac OS.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Network+)) are preferred.
  • Languages: Very Good command of English (oral/written).
