Job Description
A growing FMCG company specializing in international trade, import/export operations, and product distribution is now hiring a Part-Time IT Specialist to be responsible for setting up and maintaining the IT infrastructure of the company.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up and configure hardware (computers, printers, routers, etc.) and software for the office.
- Ensure proper installation and functioning of network connections and security protocols.
- Provide IT support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage and maintain office devices, ensuring they are updated and secure.
- Assist in setting up company emails, accounts, and access permissions.
- Implement basic cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
- Ensure regular backups and data recovery plans are in place.
- Educate employees on IT best practices and security awareness.
- Install and update necessary software programs.
- Support integration of business applications as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an office environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking, VPNs, and cloud-based applications.
- Basic cybersecurity and data protection knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide remote support when needed.
Working Conditions:
- Working Days: 2 days per week (days to be agreed upon).
