About YouAs the lead of the Information Technology Team, you will be working closely with our team in Canada and Egypt. You will be working to address evolving and pervasive issues such as identity theft, data security breaches, data leakage, cyber intelligence & security, and system outages across our Trufla team, with the goal of enabling ongoing, secure, and reliable operations across the company. You will apply deep security skills to provide the following Security Services: design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. In addition, the role will be required to provide services to help clients protect their information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Responsibilities:Support Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex workstation problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software, including telephony equipment in order to deliver required service levels Collaborate with IT Team members to ensure efficient operation of the company’s computing environment Receive and respond to incoming calls, tickets, and/or e-mails regarding service problems Participate in a rotating on-call assignment after hours and weekends Answer to and perform move, add and change (MAC) requests as they are submitted by line managers and coordinated by system administrators Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring workstation operations Accurately document instances of computer and/or telephone equipment for component failure, repair, installation, and removal Liaise with third-party support and equipment/software vendors as neededSecurity Demonstrate understanding of business processes, risk management, IT controls and related standards Assist with performing capability assessments, developing good practice recommendations and pragmatic remediation strategies Identify/evaluate business and technology risks Design and implement appropriate controls, technologies, and processes to adequately mitigate risks and provide demonstrable value to the organization Employ a structured approach to project delivery to ensure successful completion and communications Conduct research to maintain and expand knowledge on the latest security technologies and standards, as well as the threat and vulnerability landscape Work with security vendors to understand their solution offerings and advise on appropriate technologies Develop your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a business advisor Participate in the development and delivery of training programs to individuals in the organization Review security-related events, assessing risk and validity, as well as reportingQualifications College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or completion of a certificate program at a recognized learning institute. 5+ years of experience in similar Network or Security role 2+ years’ experience leading a team Sound technical knowledge of PC hardware and related technologies including mobile devices Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards Ability to operate hand tools, components, and peripheral accessories Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides Experience and success working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience conducting penetration testingPersonal Attributes Strong customer-service orientation with strong written and oral communication skills Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language Flexible and adaptable with proven problem solving ability High degree of professionalism and integrity Demonstrated accountability and reliability in the quality and timeliness of work Ability to conduct research into technology issues and products as required Self-governing with the desire to complete tasks and push forward new initiatives Critical thinker with strong attention to details Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
