About the role

We are seeking a Junior IT/Development engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for providing technical support, developing internal tools and scripts, implementing basic security measures, and assisting with cloud service management. This role requires strong problem-solving, Networking, programming skills, and the ability to learn quickly and contribute to a diverse range of IT tasks and team-work.

What you will do

• Provide first-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on a daily basis.
• Maintain the office network (wired/wireless) up and running.
• Develop and maintain simple internal tools and automation scripts.
• Implement basic security measures and assist with security audits.
• Support the management of cloud-based services and integrations.
• Contribute to internal tech projects and service enhancement.
• Maintain a server/cloud base Active Directory and do the necessary configuration.
• Support the implementation and management of virtual machines for different needs.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Network/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or has a maximum of one year experience.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
• Good Programming/scripting skills Javascript and Python is a plus (Ability to write simple scripts for automation tasks). 
• Understanding of basic software development principles  
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software (Windows mainly).
• Familiarity with basic security concepts (passwords, access control, malware protection).
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.  
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Google Cloud preferred).     
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users).
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential, French is a plus
