Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Manage the overall improvement of the Delivery Function across the IT Organizations through facilitating all of the Banks IT departments to assure the elimination of bottle necks and work on rectifying any delays with full alignment of different teams across all IT functions & Business with full reachability for all of the escalation lines in order to avoid any impact on the execution plans while ensuring that the best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits are defined and followed for the IT engagements.

1. Manage the Implementation of the delivery assurance Framework and Processes.

2. Track and report the conformance to plans and expectations of IT and Business oriented initiatives and engagements.

3. Work with Product and other IT Teams to deliver against plans, in addition to work closely with Program/Project Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is followed.

4. Conduct ongoing reviews of the health of Transformation Programs, Demands and IT Projects, in accordance with the Delivery Assurance processes.

5. Ensure that all participants and stakeholders are appropriately informed, involved and have visibility throughout each review period.

6. Ensure that the Delivery Assurance Officer is reporting the agreed KPIs for measurement of program's health and that it is appropriately collated.

7. Monitor the Delivery Assurance Officer contribution to the prioritisation of remedial and mitigating actions identified during ongoing programs, demands and projects health checks.

8. Report on delivery assurance status and progress, ensuring that the tools are fit for purpose and documentation is up-to-date.

Day- to-day operations

9. Supervise the day to day operations of the IT Delivery Assurance team providing some guidance in the related area, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.

10. Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.

11. Participate and recommend improvements to policies, processes and procedures and manage their implementation to ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled

Compliance:

12. Ensure compliance with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB's sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree of Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Post-graduate degree is a plus
• A total years of experience of 12 years with a minimum of 6 years of experience in delivery management activities
• Multi-disciplinary application of wide knowledge spanning business, data, and technology.
• Strong knowledge of project management, governance frameworks and process improvement techniques.
• Proven experience in: Engagement Planning and Tracking is a must
