About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures that meet the needs of the business while complying with all relevant regulations. As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across systems and platforms, driving the success of business objectives through effective data management.
Your Profile
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialization in data architecture is a plus.
- Certifications: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Architect, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
- Experience: 5 to 10 years in data management or database architecture, with at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in data architecture, including designing data models, creating data warehouses, and managing complex data systems.

Your Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Data Architecture: Develop scalable and efficient data architectures that align with business goals, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Data Integration & Management: Lead integration efforts across systems, ensuring smooth data flow and data quality through data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Data Security & Privacy: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA. Work with cybersecurity teams to prevent unauthorized access and data loss.
- Collaboration with Business & IT Teams: Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design data systems that meet their needs. Communicate complex data-related concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Optimization & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot scalability issues, and recommend improvements to the database architecture.
- Data Governance: Establish frameworks for data governance, define roles for data stewardship, and ensure high data quality, standardization, and compliance.
- Ensure Data Quality: Implement strategies to ensure data is accurate, complete, and reliable, using data validation rules and workflows.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation on data architectures and workflows. Provide reports and presentations to stakeholders on progress and data performance.
- Stay Updated on Technology Trends: Keep current with advancements in data management technologies, incorporating new tools and techniques to enhance data systems.
- Support Data Analytics & Business Intelligence: Ensure data systems are structured to support business intelligence and analytics tools, enabling data-driven decision-making.

- Data Warehousing: Knowledge of building and maintaining data warehouses using platforms like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
- Data Integration Tools: Familiarity with tools for integrating and managing data across systems, such as Apache Kafka, MuleSoft, or Informatica.
- Data Security & Privacy: Experience implementing data security measures and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Performance Optimization: Ability to monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring systems are scalable and efficient as business needs evolve.
Analytical & Business Skills
- Business Intelligence: Understanding of how data systems support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Data Governance: Experience establishing data governance frameworks to maintain high data quality, standardization, and compliance across the organization.
- Data Quality Management: Expertise in implementing processes and rules to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, data flow, or system integration.
- Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and executives. Ability to communicate complex data-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
