Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Security Policies:
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, particularly ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOC2.
Risk Management and Assessment:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Develop and manage strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Oversee incident response planning and investigate security breaches, providing root cause analysis and future mitigation strategies.
Security Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of IT security, including monitoring and responding to security incidents.
- Oversee the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the security team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of security controls with business needs.
- Communicate security risks and solutions to stakeholders, including senior management.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, specifically focusing on ISO 27001 and SOC2 standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits of security controls.
Technology Management:
- Stay current with emerging security technologies and threats.
- Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security or related fields.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Experience in risk management and incident response.
- Strong understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices, and strategies.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance is key.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
