The Messaging & IoT Presales Senior Supervisor is responsible for driving Dept. revenue through working closely with customers to understand their business and marketing needs that can be fulfilled using various technologies involving IoT and Messaging SMS solutions from Vodafone, the role also requires working with a strong sales team that is capable of building a strong relationship with key personnel in many sectors and developing and presenting solutions to the customer needs.
Advanced IoT & Messaging Solutions Sales:
• Responsible for understanding customer requirements, and act to fulfill such requirements leveraging on Vodafone products and solutions including messaging, IoT and Big data services.
• Strong understanding of Vodafone Products, Services and solutions and how they can be tailored or pulled together to meet different entities needs.
• Full understanding of the confidentiality and data privacy of critical related projects
• Work closely with product owners for delivering insights on the market and act as the customer\segment voice inside Vodafone
• Excellent sales skills that abides with the Vodafone solution selling.
• Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
Basic Presales Skills (Capabilities and Duties):
• Adequate understanding of the laws, regulations and governance of critical deals and purchasing process and cycle
• Respond to requests for information and requests for pricing.
• Work with sales personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.
• Coordinate requirements and deliver proofs of concept to customers when needed.
• In conjunction with Sales Personnel, develop and conduct transition briefing - communicate commitments, expectations, customer organization, etc.
• Lead messaging and IoT Presales team across all sectors
Reporting and analysis:
• Provide the management with regular reports including the figures related to SMS\Messaging sales across all segments.
Sales Achievement:
• Maintain and ensure the consistency of target achievement in the assigned EBU segment.
