About the job Inventory Control Lead
Review and monitor the quantities and values of all inventory movements that take place in/between donation centers and main warehouses, whether documented or electronically, and identify all pending issues and differences and work to resolve them. Review and approve permissions to received goods in the warehouses by quantity and value before submitting them to the Cost and Budgeting Manager. Prepare reports on inventory balances by quantity and value and monthly cost reports either Perpetual or periodic and send them to both Cost and Budgeting Manager & Accounting Manager. Conduct a monthly reconciliation of the actual balances of critical items in the warehouses and compare them with the balances recorded in the inventory unit in the SAP system to verify the regularity of the restrictions. Examine the data related to stagnant, slow, damaged, near and expired goods in the warehouses and make recommendations regarding them. Review the application of the harmonization returns policy on the negative program and its accuracy. Participate in the executions committee and complete all its documents. Develop a monthly and annual inventory plan for donation centers and company warehouses and follow up on implementation (inventory decision - inventory instructions - inventory committees). Prepare monthly, surprise and annual inventory results reports and have them approved by the Costs and Budgets Manager. Settle inventory balances resulting from inventory after approval. Prepare a report on turnover rates and inventory ages at the item and customer level on a monthly basis. Participate in preparing a study on inventory wright down "Impairment" according to (stagnant - slow - damaged - expired - close to expiration - lost - ... etc.) to show the real value of the company's inventory.
Academic experience required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Computing Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,Word,PowerPoint) Strong ERP Systems experience (SAP)
