You will be involved in various stages of the software development lifecycle, from design to implementation, and will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive and dynamic environment.What you will be doing :Assist in the development and maintenance of Java applications.Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test software solutions.Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.Debug and resolve software defects and issues.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in Java development.What we are looking for:Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Basic understanding of Java programming and object-oriented principles.Familiarity with Java frameworks and libraries, such as Spring or Hibernate, is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with version control systems, such as Git.Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL).Previous coursework or projects involving Java development.Join Jumia's tech team and be part of the digital revolution transforming commerce in Africa.
