Job Description

Alliance for trading and investment is a commodities trading company that serves various industries; currently, food commodities, chemical raw materials mainly used in the detergency industry, and building materials and solid fuels is hiring a International Logistics Specialist.


Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.


- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.


- Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively.


- Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements


- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.


- Prepare accurate reports for upper management.


- Follow up on the shipment daily with Agents/suppliers and the Clearances office.


- Coordinating and revising documents from suppliers/customers.


- Doing the needful arrangements for shipments (Rates, booking, Issuing B/L’S Tracking, clearance)


- Responsible for every shipment documentation preparation, such as invoice, & packing list, according to the agreement that took place between the Sales department and the client.


- Negotiate with suppliers and logistics operators to achieve profitable deals.


- Communicate with suppliers to achieve mutual satisfaction.


- Coordinate and monitor operations of the supply chain.


- Promptly resolve shipment and inventory issues as they arise.


- Process freight claims and billing.


- Analyze data and suggest modifications and improvements accordingly.


- Track final product shipments, costs, and timelines according to requirements.


- Maintain logs and records of executed orders.


Job Requirements:

- BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management, or relevant field


- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator (1 or 2 years).


- Knowledge about international trade, customs clearance, shipping documentation, and incoterms


- Experience in customer service will be appreciated


- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements


- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes


- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)


- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


- Fluent in English.

Work Conditions:


Job Type: Full-Time.


Working Days: Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


Friday and Saturday are Off.


Work Location: Giza.
