Internal Control Lead (Maternity Cover)

Danone Business Services (DBS) is looking for a talented Internal Control Lead (Maternity Cover) to be based in Cairo, Egypt like you!

In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, you will be responsible to follow through, end-to-end on ensuring a high level of internal control in the CBU, focusing specifically on:

 * The accuracy and reliability of financial reports,

 *Compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies (Dango, DAM, WEFI...)

- Prepare the audit group and ensure the implementation of action plans.

The job scope is mainly designed to serve the Danone Specialized Nutrition business to become the point of contact for business teams to ensure that the organization, governance and processes are enforced and deliver high-quality services. It will cover the maternity leave for 7 months.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop and Implement Policies: Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor Compliance: Regularly review and monitor the adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Audit and Review: Conduct audits and reviews of processes, controls, and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports on the internal control framework and any deficiencies.
• Training and Guidance: Offer training and support to staff on internal control practices and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure a consistent approach to risk management and control.

Ensure continuous improvement

• Ensure a Continuous Improvement mindset for local DBS teams: identification of improvement opportunities and coordination with Regional Continuous Improvement Team for their validation and implementation
• Stay abreast of the latest developments, best practices and trends to bring leading edge expertise.

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

Education & Professional Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Multi-national company in Audit, Internal Audit or Internal Control department
• SAP experience is crucial
• Competency in use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point.

Fluent in English and Arabic.
